Let's see here...
Fun, challenging, sometimes fast and dynamic, sometimes slow and specific, good for your posture, good for your flexibility, good for your lung capacity, good for your mental health, good for your tight lower back, good for giving you a buzz, frustrating, entertaining, hilarious...
Good for your neck, hard, enlightening, good for ALL your other sports, good for your rehabilitation after injury, good for your pre-habilitation to avoid injury, engaging, mindful, tricky, tough, sweaty, calming, great for strengthening your deepest muscles in your trunk, energising, balancing, irritating, confusing, complex, relieving, lengthening, good to loosen out your tight hips after sitting all day....
Varied, interesting, good for your golf swing, good for your bowling action, good for getting your spine moving, gets your heart rate up, gets your heart rate down, not what you think, better than you think, annoying to start with, good for strengthening all the tiny supporting muscles so you can lift more in the gym, excellent for improving joint stability and overall control and coordination...
Good for your nerves, great for relieving tension, good for your tight hammies and your lazy glute muscles, good for your weak knee muscles, good for ironing out differences in your two sides, good for your tight pec muscles, good for your grumpy rotator cuff muscles (if you don't know what any of those are, don't worry, I will break it all down beautifully and teach you)...
Good for young and not as young people, good for sporty people and not as sporty people, good for all shapes and sizes, good for any body. Just good.
But don't worry. I'm realistic about it too. I know it's not for everyone (nothing is). But I will do my very best to teach you all about the ins and outs of it so that you can then decide for yourself if you want to make it a part of your regular routine.
Also - Pilates over Zoom is something I've been doing for three years. It works.
