Myo-fascial Release + Meditation aka the Roly Poly Class!
One of the Bonus Classes that will regularly be on offer is this one.
We will do 35 or so minutes of release of various muscle groups on the foam roller and the Franklin balls. Essentially, it will feel like a deep tissue massage. We will use the props to roll our your calves, quads, ITBs, glutes, lower back, upper back, shoulders, and neck.
Then we will finish with 10 minutes or so of mindfulness - a range of exercises including progressive muscle relaxation, breathing exercises, and simple mindfulness techniques you can have a go at in your own time.
This is an excellent class to try to include in your schedule to improve recovery and reduce risk of injury. And it's kind of fun!
