Thursday mornings will hold something a little special - the Combo Class.
There will also be some Bonus Classes during the block - usually one or more will be a Combo Class.
This will consist of:
Part A - Huff and Puff (20 mins)
Part B - Pilates (20 mins)
Part C - Mindfulness (5 mins)
Imagine Part A just like 'hyper-Pilates'. We will do a range of body resistance exercises (think squats, lunges, push ups) and a range of cardiovascular strengthening exercises (think marching/jogging on the spot, squat jumps, aerobic-type moves). We will sometimes use equipment like hand weights. Straight forward; executed safely; high repetition; co-ordination or experience not required!
Please don't think that you cannot do these classes. Send me an email if you aren't sure. I will talk you through it. You can also come to one and see what you think. We are a small crowd - you know I will look after you! You know me - all the exercises will have levels and I will push you to achieve at the level that suits you. And don't doubt that this will be a solid workout!
For those of you who find Pilates of a morning a bit tough because you don't feel warmed up enough - I think you will enjoy the Combo Class. After we've huffed and puffed we then get into a solid 20 minute Pilates routine. We finish with 5 minutes of quiet time to set you up for your day.
